Students in their 3rd and 4th year can submit Independent Study proposals which allow them to complete a research project or clinical preceptorship at Brown, under the supervision of a Brown faculty member. 

The total weeks of credit should reflect a minimum of 40 hours per week of work. Independent Study proposals must be submitted at least 5 weeks before your proposed start date for the process.
