We welcome abstracts related to any aspect of surgery, including clinical outcomes, health policy, and basic science research. Submissions should follow the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion format and must be 350 words or fewer.

A panel of surgical attendings, fellows, and residents will review all submissions. Top-scoring abstracts will be selected for oral presentation during the virtual conference.

Please note:

• You do not need to be an AWS member to submit an abstract.
• The submission deadline is October 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.
• Selected presenters will be notified in mid-November.
